There are many translations of the central poetic text of Tao te ching. None that I have seen surpass to the lucidity and elegance of the recent version by Ursula K Le Guin. You can get a flavour of it here and see whether you agree.

The links below are to places where you can buy or read about that version.

NB I have no commercial interest in any of the products available below.

Humane Power: The Tao of Clean

Clean Conference, London,
Sun Oct 24 2010 - 11:30 - 13:00

“…It looks like nothing, it sounds like nothing much. And yet you can’t get enough of it.”

These ancient words* about the Tao could just as well describe Clean. Paradoxical, ephemeral, compelling – what is it about Clean that attracts us?

Let’s explore where the desire to work Cleanly comes from – in you, in all of us – and how it can empower your work and relationships with others.

You will have the chance to explore what Clean is for you and for others and how to begin to use the ‘humane power’ of Clean inside you to pay optimum attention outside, to the person you are with in coaching, in therapy or simply in the world.

*(modern interpretation by Ursula K Le Guin)
